Unfortunately SEWBReC is not in a position to take on any additional volunteers at the present time. As an alternative, please take a look at our partner organisations (see below), many of which are always eager to take on volunteers. You may also be interested in taking part in some of the events listed on our Events page, many of which include elements of training and the opportunity to build up a variety of skills.
Many of our partner organisations offer opportunities for gaining voluntary work experience in the environmental sector. This work ranges from practical conservation work through to participating in species surveys. Please see our Contacts and Links page for details of suitable organisations in your local area.
Another extremely valuable way to get involved in protecting and conserving your local biodiversity is to record what you see. After all, we can't protect what we don't know about. Click here for more information.
